National Women's Ministries
The United Pentecostal Church of Australia, National Women’s Ministry department consists of women of all ages who call your church their church. Our department exists to connect women to each other and to the heart of God. Our desire is to assist the local churches to equip and disciple women, to connect women to the larger body of Christ, and to encourage women through this connection to grow deep, be bold and to fulfil the call of God in their lives.
The theme for 2023 is “Together”. O magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt his name together”(Psalm 34:3). We are stronger together. We are victorious together. We overcome together. We celebrate the joy and victory that comes through our connection, together. It is the desire of this department that every woman feels connected, supported, encouraged, and valued. We the women of Australia want to celebrate being together again.
This year our goal is to bring women together via our social medial platforms, to plan and promote a National ladies day for each church/region to gather together, to support local churches as they organise regional ladies retreats, and to provide online connection through prayer, teaching and discussions.
The reach of the NWM of Australia extends beyond our nation and provides a sponsorship program, supporting children in need at the Audrene Schism Children’s Home in Mizoram India. We are filled with joy as we financially support children because at the heart of women, is children.
We encourage you connect with us. Together we can make a difference with the power of God on our side and each other, cheering us on.
